  • Balance

Just like with any other tool, weight affects the operation of the machine. The lighter it is, the easier it is to maneuver. However, it is true that the heavier the machine, the more stable it will be. A milling machine weighing 2-4 kg is most commonly used, especially for jobs that do not require milling many elements.

  • Chuck diameter

It depends on the type of device connected. Typically, the shank has a diameter of 6 or 8 mm, but it can even be 12 mm or more. The largest is 12mm and requires a more powerful router.
